Groton Township is 1 of 9 Townships within Erie County.
 

We have 1379 residents, 1023 are registered to vote. Of the registered voters: 59% are non- party affiliated, 26% are Republican, and 15% are Democrat. Our poling precinct location is the Groton Township Hall.
 

Margaretta, Monroeville, Bellevue and Perkins Schools serve our youth in public education. Local Law Enforcement is The Erie County Sheriff’s Department.

 

The Groton Township Volunteer Fire Department serves Groton and Oxford Townships.
 

State Routes 269 and 4 make Groton Township the Southwestern Gateway to Erie County.
